We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Business Development Specialist to join our team in Islamabad, supporting a UK-based real estate client. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying residential blocks and rooftops across the UK with strong development potential.

Working closely with the UK acquisitions team, you will leverage property intelligence platforms, direct outreach, and data-driven strategies to source both off-market and on-market opportunities. Your efforts will directly contribute to expanding the client’s portfolio.

This is a high-impact position suited for someone with strong research, communication and Negotiation skills, a solid understanding of real estate dynamics.

What will your responsibilities as a Business Development Specialist entail?

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities for airspace development across the UK, with a focus on urban and high-density areas.
  • Identify and evaluate apartment blocks suitable for long-term lease acquisition under the Guaranteed Rent Agreement (GRA) model across major UK cities.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of freeholders, property owners, developers, and property agents.
  • Source off-market or distressed blocks of flats for potential bulk acquisition at discounted rates.
  • Initiate and lead acquisition discussions with owners and agents—whether for outright purchase or long-term lease under GRA.
  • Conduct targeted email and phone outreach to introduce Apex’s development and rental model to property owners and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with real estate analysts and acquisition managers to prioritize high-potential leads.
  • Assist in preparing property briefs, investment proposals, and presentations for UK-based stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and provide regular updates on acquisition progress, lead status, and conversion metrics.
  • Work with internal teams including finance, legal, planning, and development to support seamless property acquisition and onboarding.
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly outreach, negotiation, and conversion goals, maintaining high productivity and effectiveness in property sourcing and negotiation.

Are you the ideal candidate for this role?

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, Urban Planning, or a related field.

Experience:
3–5 years of B2B business development or sales experience, preferably within the property, real estate, or investment sectors.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong research, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proven expertise in negotiating price or rent with landlords and property agents.
  • Proficient in using digital tools and platforms for sourcing, tracking, and managing property leads.
  • Excellent negotiation, networking, and deal-closing skills.
  • Familiarity with property due diligence, planning processes, and local market regulations.
  • Highly self-motivated, well-organized, and able to work independently while effectively collaborating with a UK-based team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and CRM systems.
  • Excellent command of English (both spoken and written) to engage confidently with UK stakeholders.

Market Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with the UK property market is highly desirable.
  • Alternatively, a strong willingness and ability to learn UK market dynamics quickly.
  • Ability to identify and engage UK-based stakeholders in a professional and strategic manner.
